CM: It looks like the gnome has spotted the hunter in this photo.

RB: Ha! Very astute observation, that. It seems the tables have turned on our friend. It never ceases to give me a chuckle when I spot the look on a gnome’s face when it’s staring down the business end of my slingshot. You’ll notice the upright arrangement of the gnome’s conical hat. This indicates alarm.

CM: Be gentle, Reg. Remember, it’s not a real gnome in the photograph.

RB: Hold still, little thing. Once I’ve got you home, it will only be a matter of time before the savory scent of gnome and kidney pie emanates from my kitchen window!
