THE PSYCHOLOGY OF
Coagulatio
Adapted from
Guide to Lost Wonder No.9

* * * * *

Making “Sense”

Psychologically, Coagulatio embodies the process of ego formation. How do the things we surround ourselves with define who we are? By reminding us of the natural world, Coagulatio grounds us in the moment and helps us experience life through our body’s five senses.

Every time we do something, understand something, create something, or buy something, we are experiencing Coagulatio.

This step in the refinement process also has to do with figuring out a new way to look at or solve a problem. It furthers our sense of Self to the point where we can differentiate our experiences from our fantasies and begin to form opinion on the nature of good and evil.
